 I have known Shahnaz for a few years but hadn’t seen her since she started doing wedding hair and makeup full-time. When I asked her for advice about my wedding hair, I never dreamed she would be able to make my ‘dream’ wedding style a reality……..

My fiance proposed to me in mid-November and not wanting to wait around we decided on an early August wedding! With a huge list of things to organise, ‘wedding hair’ seemed to slip to the end of a very long list. I then found myself in March wondering what I was going to do!

I went to my hair dresser and asked her advice as I had all of my hair cut off in October (typical!) and was wondering what could be done with short ‘bob’ length hair. She told me that the classic up-do bun style that I wanted was impossible because of my hair length. I left feeling really upset and disappointed as I had my heart set on this style. I contacted Shahnaz for advice, knowing how successful she is I presumed she would be booked up so I just wanted some guidance from her. We got together and she was fantastic. Luckily for me, she did have a booking on the day of my wedding, but it was for later in the day so Shahnaz is now booked to do mine and my four bridesmaids hair.

I have been for a trial and Shahnaz worked miracles with my short hair to create exactly the look and style I was after. She is so enthusiastic, creative and inspiring and I left feeling a million dollars with absolute confidence that I would look my best on my big day. Shahnaz was open to try more styles, but it wasn’t necessary as she got exactly what I wanted with her first go! Shahnaz, you are a genius!!! Thank you – I highly recommend you to all future blushing brides!

Hi Shahnaz,

Thank you so much for looking after us all on the 8th October, we were really pleased with our hair and makeup :-) We had a perfect day and couldn’t believe how lucky we were with the weather (hottest day in October for 5 years!!!) Mum and I wondered what foundation you used on each of us as we could be pursuaded to use it more often on special occasions as it looked and felt so good?!! Think you used a little powder on top too? Also what was the skin colour corrector you used on me?

Back from the honeymoon and back to reality! 

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for the great job you did with me and the girls on our wedding day!  You and Sam were absolutely fantastic and very calming for a nervous bride and of course what an amazing job you did on my hair and makeup!  Everyone said how beautiful I looked, and although partly down to my fabulous dress, more down to the hair and makeup I think!!

The hair stayed in really well and the makeup lasted all day and night!  The wedding was absolutely amazing, the rain stopped long enough for us to get some pics outside, so that was a bonus!

Once again thanks for your fantastic work and I won’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone I know who gets married.
